Refuge Student Ministry is about building up students to discover what it looks like to be passionate about loving the one true God themselves. Then out of their own daily journey with God, we encourage them to live out God's love to all of the people they interact with everyday so those people may also experience what it's like to be overcome by God's love.
We want to be a people that are actively passionate about Christ! We do not want to be merely religious, have some sort of lukewarm faith, or be people that simply follow a set of rules to manage our sin. We want to be people that are actively passionate about Christ and constantly striving for what God wants from them!
In Matthew 22: 37-38 Jesus says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength”. God really desires for us to give all of ourselves to Him and not be halfhearted about our faith. When we open ourselves up to what God wants for us a passion for the things of God boils up in us.
REFUGE: Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm
Refuge is a place where students can come to find safety and 'Refuge' from all of the things they face in the world. It is a time of, fun and games, to hang out with their friends, but more than that it is a place to worship and grow. Each week we engage in authentic worship through both music and creative worship. We also have solid biblical teaching each week to help our students grow in their faith and live that faith outside our doors.
ROOTED: Sundays 9:30am
Rooted is a time for students to grow deeper in their faith. It is where students can build a solid foundation for a faith that will last the rest of their life. Rooted is simply a time of solid biblical teaching where students are challenged to become rooted in the Word so that they will not fall.
